4Å pore — selective adsorption of water/methanol/ethanol, most widely used
SN-ALS-04 is a 4Å (4A) molecular sieve that adsorbs water, methanol, ethanol, H₂S, SO₂, CO₂, ethylene and propylene while excluding molecules > 4Å (incl. propane). Its selectivity for water makes it the most widely used industrial sieve — for deep drying of natural gas/refrigerants, argon production, static drying of pharmaceuticals/electronics and dehydration of paints/fuels/coatings.
