SN-ZT Low-Temperature Lead-Free Glass Powder is a fine white glass powder designed around ZnO (zinc oxide), B₂O₃ (boron oxide) and SiO₂ (silicon dioxide). Its lead-free (Pb-free) composition makes it an eco-friendly replacement for conventional lead-based low-melting glass in sealing, bonding and coating processes.
The standard grade has a softening point of 570℃, a melting temperature of 670℃ and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 7.99×10⁻⁶/℃ (typical values). It forms a glass phase at relatively low temperatures and is used reliably for sealing and insulating coatings on ceramic, glass and metal parts.
The mean particle size (D50) is adjusted within 5–15 µm to suit the customer's process — screen printing, dispensing, spray coating, paste or slurry formulation, and more. Softening point, melting temperature and CTE can also be tailored through composition design to match the customer's firing temperature and substrate expansion, subject to consultation.
